- Slow refrigerant leak at the bowl coil. The classic sign is a machine that cooled fine in spring and cannot hold 41 degrees by July. We confirm with gauges and an electronic leak detector, repair the leak point, evacuate to spec, and weigh in the factory charge. Topping off without fixing the leak just books a repeat failure.
- Cracked bowls and brittle lids. Polycarbonate bowls craze after years of hot washing, then split at the valve boss and leak a full batch onto the counter. We replace bowls and lids with current factory parts and set the wash routine so the new ones last.
