What we close on the truck.
- Spray pump stops circulating on D25 and D35 bowls. The magnetic drive coupling wears down and the impeller quits turning, so product sits still, separates, and warms at the surface. I replace the pump assembly and check the drive magnet in the same visit, because a weak magnet will chew through a new pump in weeks.
- Auger drive grinding in FROZEN units. The gearbox behind the auger runs dry or strips a gear. You hear grinding while the slush slowly turns to liquid. I pull the auger, inspect the shaft bushing and the rear seal, and swap the gearbox as an assembly. Running the unit on plain water during cleaning is what usually kills it.
- Faucet valve keeps dripping into the tray. Sugar syrup hardens the valve o-rings, so the faucet weeps after you close it. It is a cheap fix, fresh o-rings and food grade lubricant, but ignored it leaves a sticky trail that draws fruit flies and a note from the health inspector.
