R290 is a hydrocarbon refrigerant, and it is flammable. In normal use the small charge stays sealed inside the system. During a repair it changes the procedure: the gas is recovered, the area is ventilated, and brazing starts only once the system is clear.

Auger motor worn out on a FROZEN unit. After years of duty, the auger motor's bearings or windings give out. The auger slows, stalls or grinds under a full load. We test the motor, replace it when it is gone and check the drive parts it connects to.
Shaft seal letting product into the base. Worn shaft seals or O-rings let product creep down into the base, where it ruins bearings and breeds bacteria. We replace the seal kit, clean out the drive path and check the bearings for damage.
