We replace the motor, degrease the coil, and confirm the unit has the clearance the spec sheet calls for.
Icing on ADU and wet bar undercounter units. Compact UCR units in Dublin ADUs and home bars ice their evaporators when a door gasket fails or someone leaves the door ajar against a bottle. The freezer section frosts and the fridge side warms. We replace the gasket, clear the coil, and check door swing and leveling on the install.
Controller lockups after construction-area power work. Ongoing construction east of Tassajara means power interruptions, and electronic controls on newer HC units sometimes come back confused, short-cycling the compressor.
