  • Choked condensers on catering-kitchen reach-ins. Estate prep kitchens run Horizon and Vista series reach-ins hard around events, and between events nobody cleans them. Dust mats the condenser, the fan motor labors and eventually seizes, and the box goes warm the week of a party. We replace the motor, deep clean the coil, and set a realistic cleaning interval with the house manager.
  • Gasket failure and evaporator ice on pantry undercounters. UCR undercounters in butler pantries get opened constantly by staff, and the gasket wears at the handle side. Once it leaks, the evaporator ices over and wine service temperatures drift. We install the correct gasket, defrost and inspect the coil, and check door alignment so the new seal actually seals.
  • Controller faults on back-bar units in pool houses. Glass door BB units out in pool pavilions see heat, moisture, and long idle periods. Their controllers and probes fail in ways that short-cycle the compressor or let the box freeze bottles. We diagnose the control circuit properly, replace the failed component, and verify stable cycling before signing off.
