Beverage-Air in Pinole
Beverage-Air commercial service.
Door gaskets are an easy Beverage-Air repair to put off and an expensive one to ignore. A tired gasket lets warm air in, the compressor runs without a break, the power bill climbs, and the evaporator slowly ices. Swapping a worn gasket is one of the cheapest jobs on the unit, and it keeps the compressor from running itself into the ground.
From an older building in Old Town to a newer space along Fitzgerald Drive, a reach-in door takes the same punishment. Pinole calls go to our technician, who is based in Benicia. You pay a $99 diagnostic, credited toward the repair, and see the written quote before any part is ordered. For refrigerant work, ADRIUM holds EPA 608 Universal certification.
Common repairs we handle.
- Reach-in gasket torn and leaking warm air. We check the seal all the way around with the door closed, replace the gasket, and adjust the door so it lands evenly. If ice has already built on the evaporator, we defrost it and confirm the drain carries the water away.
- Hinge or closer letting the door hang open. A door that no longer swings shut on its own undoes a new gasket within weeks. We adjust or replace the hinge and closer so the door returns and seals, then test it from several opening angles.
- Water beading along the door frame. Moisture along the frame can mean a leaking gasket or, on units fitted with one, a failed frame heater. We check both and fix the cause, since a wet frame drips onto the floor and, on a freezer, can freeze the gasket to the cabinet.

FAQ
Beverage-Air in Pinole questions, answered.
-
How can we tell if a Beverage-Air gasket needs replacing?
Close the door on a sheet of paper at several points. If it slides out easily anywhere, the seal is weak there. Tears, flattened sections and frost near the door are other signs. A new gasket costs far less than the compressor wear it prevents. -
Can a bad gasket really raise our power bill?
Yes. Warm air leaking in keeps the compressor running much longer than it should, and that shows up on the bill and in the compressor's life. We can check the seal on every unit in the kitchen during one visit. -
Our reach-in sits in an Old Town building with an uneven floor. Does that matter?
It can. A cabinet that is out of level may keep its door from closing and sealing, and the gasket wears unevenly. We level the unit on its legs or casters and then check how the door lands.
