Compressor that clicks and trips without freezing. On an aging Ultra-2 the start relay and capacitor can give out before the compressor does. The machine clicks, hums and shuts off on its overload. We test the start components and the compressor windings separately, so you are not quoted a compressor when a relay is the fault.
Barrel seal weeping product behind the front. Barrel and cylinder seals dry out and wear, and product starts weeping behind the front plate. Left alone, the leak robs the barrel of its freeze and sours in the drip path. We rebuild the seal kit, replace the gaskets and look at the auger shaft for scoring that would chew up new seals.
Control board that will not light the display. A dark display or a board that drops out mid-cycle can be the board itself or something feeding it. We check the supply, the connectors and the sensor inputs before ordering a board. When the board is the fault, the written quote says so and names the part.
