Keeping a Union City business caffeinated: Bunn Crescendo rebuild
For a business, a bean-to-cup machine is not a luxury. It’s the thing that keeps customers browsing and staff moving. When a Union City location’s Bunn Crescendo started failing, they needed it back fast, not a sales pitch for a new unit.
Problem: The Crescendo does everything itself: grinds, doses, brews. All of that runs through soft parts that wear out quietly. By the time we opened it up, the silicone lines had turned brown and stiff with coffee oils, and the valve diaphragms and O-rings were past their service life.
Diagnostics: A look inside told the whole story: buildup along the brew path from grinder to dispense point, stained tubing, and seals that had stopped sealing.
Solution: Rather than chasing individual leaks, we rebuilt the entire brew path in one visit: every diaphragm, seal and O-ring replaced, all tubing swapped for fresh food-grade silicone, and the brewer and grinder path deep-cleaned before reassembly.
Result: The machine went back on the counter with new soft parts throughout and full brew cycles verified. One rebuild instead of a string of service calls, and the morning coffee line moving again.
