We look at the spray system and the water supply before anything on the refrigeration side. A Hoshizaki KM gets its own checks, the evaporator plate and the float switch. Common repairs we handle.

Hoshizaki IM spray nozzles clogged. Scale or slime blocks some of the nozzles, and the cells above them stay empty or make hollow cubes. We pull and clean the spray assembly, delime the machine and check the pump pressure that drives the spray.
Cubes sticking in the cells after harvest. When the harvest cannot warm the cells enough, cubes stay stuck and the next freeze builds on top of them. We test the hot gas valve and the harvest timing, and clean the cells so the cubes release cleanly.
Slow fill on a long supply run. In a spread-out single-story building, the ice machine can sit far from the main shutoff, and a partly closed or corroded valve along the way cuts the flow. We trace the line, check the pressure at the machine and clean the inlet screen.
Undercounter unit built into a pantry wall. Undercounter machines set into North Los Altos pantry walls and bar islands need a clear front grille and a reachable drain. We service them in place where we can, pull them out on pads where we cannot, and check the airflow before we leave.
