What we repair on the bench.

Group dripping after the shot ends. Water that keeps trickling from the group once the shot stops usually means the solenoid is not closing fully. Grit on the seat or a worn seal is the typical cause. We clean or rebuild the solenoid and run the group through repeated cycles to confirm it shuts.
Portafilter leaking at the group gasket. Coffee running down the outside of the portafilter means the gasket no longer seals. We pull the old gasket and screen, clean the group, fit new ones, and check that the handle locks in its normal position.
Group that will not build pressure. If a group opens but the shot pours thin and never builds, the solenoid may be stuck partly open to the drain, or the pump may be weak. We check pressure at the group and at the pump to tell which, then quote that repair.
