What we close on the truck.
- Output dropped to half on a cafe workhorse. An aging magnetron rarely dies outright. It fades, staff stretch cook times, and quality slips before anyone connects the dots. I measure actual heating output against Sharp's spec, and when the tube is the cause I replace it along with a check of the diode that may have aged it.
- Internal fuse blowing repeatedly. Sharp's monitor interlock blows the line fuse on purpose when door switch timing drifts, and a fuse-swap-only fix guarantees a repeat call. I reset the switch sequence to spec, replace the worn switches, and then fuse the unit once, properly.
- Touch panel worn dead on the most-used pads. One-touch pads for the two or three staple items die first from tens of thousands of presses. The repair is the panel assembly, and I reprogram the memory presets afterward so the counter workflow does not change.
