Vevor in San Pablo
Vevor commercial service.
A Vevor slush machine can be perfectly healthy and still pour a bad drink. Mix is half the job: too little sugar and the tank freezes into a hard block that stalls the auger, too much and it never firms up. Before we open anything on a San Pablo counter, along San Pablo Avenue, Rumrill Boulevard or anywhere else in town, we look at what is in the tank.
If the mix is right and the tank still will not freeze, the fault is real. We check the condenser and its fan, the compressor start parts and the refrigerant charge. If the auger grinds or stops, we pull the gear motor and look at the gears and the drive, and leaking tanks get new gaskets and seals.
Our technician for San Pablo operates out of Benicia. The $99 diagnostic is credited toward the repair, and we write the quote before ordering parts, since Vevor parts are cheap but not always in stock. ADRIUM holds EPA 608 Universal certification, and our license is CSLB #1136642.
Common repairs we handle.
- Tank too hard or too soft from the mix ratio. The sugar in the mix sets how firm the slush gets. Too little and it turns to ice around the auger; too much and it stays liquid no matter how long it runs. We check the mix with the tank running and set you up with the ratio the machine needs.
- Condenser clogged with dust and syrup. Vents near the floor or a busy counter pull in dust, and spilled syrup makes it stick. A clogged condenser leaves the tanks soft and the compressor hot. We clean the coil, check the fan and measure the compressor afterward.
- Compressor start parts failing. When the compressor clicks and hums without starting, the start relay or capacitor is often the cause. We test both and the overload, then the compressor itself, and replace the start parts when the compressor is sound.

FAQ
Vevor in San Pablo questions, answered.
-
Our slush comes out icy and chunky. Is the machine broken?
Usually not. Icy, chunky slush most often means the mix is too thin on sugar or the setting is too cold for that mix. Try a mix made for slush machines at the label ratio. If it still comes out wrong, we test the controls and the refrigeration. -
Can you tell on one visit whether it is the mix or the machine?
Yes. We check the mix, then measure how the refrigeration and the drive are working with the machine running. You leave with an answer and a written quote if a part has failed. -
We run all three tanks on our Vevor. Can one bad tank take down the others?
It can. On most slush machines the tanks share one compressor and one condenser, so a leak or a failing fan weakens all of them. A bad seal or gear motor usually stays with its own tank, unless leaking mix reaches the wiring. We check the shared parts first.
