Vevor in Portola Valley
Vevor commercial service.
Portola Valley barely has a commercial strip at all, just the small cluster near the town center, so the Vevor frozen drink machines I service here sit on ranch properties toward Skyline or in a barn-turned-entertaining-space off Alpine Road. Somebody set it up for a summer gathering and then it goes quiet until the next one.
Quiet is the problem. The shaft seal dries out and cracks when nothing runs through it for months, the start relay seizes from disuse, and mix left in the bowl from the last event hardens into a paste around the auger. Almost every Portola Valley call starts with it worked fine at the end of last summer and ends with me finding a part that gave up from sitting, not from use.
ADRIUM Service Solutions is based in San Ramon, owned by Andrew Kuznetsov. I carry an EPA Section 608 Universal certification and the company holds CSLB #1136642. Every job gets a written quote, the $75 diagnostic comes off the bill once you approve the repair, the repair is warrantied for 1 year, and we book 7 days a week, event check-ins included.
Common repairs we do
What we close on the truck.
- Shaft seal cracked from a winter of sitting unused. A machine parked all winter on an outer Portola Valley property dries out at the shaft seal, and the crack shows up as mix running down the back panel the first time it's asked to freeze a batch. I replace the seal, grease the shaft properly, and the leak is done.
- Compressor silent after months off. Machines that sit through the rainy season on a property off Alpine or toward Skyline often just hum with no cold coming. Nine times out of ten that's a dead start capacitor or relay, and the compressor itself is fine. I test the windings directly instead of swapping the compressor on a guess.
- Auger stuck from old mix. Mix that never got rinsed out at the end of the last gathering sets up hard around the auger. Forcing it strips the gearbox, and a five-minute cleanup turns into a drive replacement. I work the auger loose by hand, swap the gearbox only if the teeth are already gone, and show you the rinse routine that keeps it from happening again.

FAQ
Vevor in Portola Valley questions, answered.
-
How long a drive is Portola Valley for you?
About 50 to 60 minutes from San Ramon, down I-680 and over on 92 or 280. I book Portola Valley on the same Peninsula day as Hillsborough, so I can give you a written arrival time instead of a loose all-day window. -
Can you come look at it before a gathering?
Yes, and it's the right call. I run a test batch, check freeze-down time, look at the seal and tap, and fix anything on the edge of failing while I'm there. Cheaper than a dead machine the morning people arrive. -
Is a machine this cheap worth repairing?
For the failures I actually see out here, yes. Seals, start parts, and gearbox work from old mix all run well under the cost of a new unit, and you skip the wait on a replacement. I write the quote with real numbers, and if replacing it is genuinely the better move, I'll tell you that instead.
