Vevor in San Jose
Vevor commercial service.
San Jose has more Vevor slush machines per square mile than any other city we cover. Taquerias along Alum Rock, boba shops near San Jose State, corner stores in Japantown, bars around San Pedro Square. The 15L single-bowl and 12L double-bowl units are everywhere because they cost a third of what a Bunn or Elmeco costs. The catch is they use lighter gearboxes and thinner seals, and in a shop that runs the machine ten hours a day those parts wear out on a schedule.
I have opened enough of these units to know the pattern before I take the cover off. If the bowl is turning but nothing freezes, it is usually the condenser or the charge. If the bowl stopped turning, it is the gearbox or a syrup leak that got into the drive. We come to your location in San Jose, run a $75 diagnostic, and waive that fee if you approve the repair. You get a written quote first, and every repair carries a 1 year warranty.
ADRIUM Service Solutions is based in San Ramon, owner-run by Andrew Kuznetsov, CSLB #1136642 and EPA Section 608 Universal certified. That last part matters with Vevor because many of their newer machines run on R290, and sealed system work on those legally requires the certification.
Common repairs we do
What we close on the truck.
- Stripped auger gearbox. The gear reducer on Vevor slush machines uses nylon gears, and thick syrup mix or a frozen-solid bowl overloads them. You hear grinding, then the auger stops while the motor still hums. We replace the gearbox or the worn gear set and check the mix ratio with you, because sugar content below about 13 percent is what freezes the bowl into a block and kills the next gearbox too.
- Bowl seal leaking syrup into the drive. The rear bowl gasket hardens after a year or two of daily cleaning cycles. Syrup seeps past it, runs down the drive shaft, and gums up the motor coupling. If you see sticky residue under the bowl or the drip tray behind the machine fills up, call before the motor seizes. A seal kit is a cheap fix. A seized drive motor is not.
- Compressor clicks but will not start. On the 110V units the start relay and overload protector on the compressor are common failure points, especially in San Jose kitchens where the machine sits next to a fryer and runs hot. You hear a click every few minutes and the bowl stays liquid. We test the relay, the capacitor, and the compressor windings, and replace the starting components on site when the compressor itself checks out.

FAQ
Vevor in San Jose questions, answered.
-
How fast can you get to San Jose from San Ramon?
We run 680 south, so San Jose is about 45 minutes from our base in San Ramon in normal traffic. We route South Bay stops together, so a San Jose call often shares a day with Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Saratoga, or Los Gatos jobs. If your machine is down during a heat wave, tell us it is a revenue-down situation and we prioritize it. -
Is a Vevor machine even worth repairing?
Usually yes. A gearbox, seal kit, or start relay costs far less than a new unit, and the repair carries our 1 year warranty. Where I tell owners to stop putting money in is a failed compressor on a unit that is already several years old. The diagnostic gives you a written quote either way, so you decide with real numbers. -
Do you carry parts for Vevor slush machines?
We stock the common wear items, gearboxes, bowl gaskets, start relays, and fan motors, because the same handful of parts fits most of the 12L and 15L bowls. Model-specific parts like control boards we order, usually a few days. We tell you the lead time in the written quote before you commit.
