What we do. What we fix.

What we do

ADRIUM repairs pro ranges, wall ovens, gas and induction cooktops, and range hoods across 39 East Bay and Tri-Valley cities, with gas work licensed under CSLB #1136642 and a $75 diagnostic waived with repair. Cooking calls split three ways: pro ranges (Thermador, Z-Line, GE Monogram), wall ovens and cooktops (Bosch, Thermador, Fisher & Paykel), and range hoods. We are Manufacturer-Authorized by Z-Line and file Z-Line warranty paperwork directly, we work Thermador to BSH service procedures and order through the BSH distribution network, and we carry the common ignitors, thermocouples, oven temp sensors, induction power-module fans, and hood blower motors on the truck.

Workflow is the same: identify the failure with a meter, not by parts-swap. Test the gas valve micro-switch before condemning a spark module. Test the RTD before condemning a control board. Verify the cool-down fan thermistor placement before swapping a fan. The wrong starting point costs the customer money.

Gas work is licensed (CSLB #1136642) and we have the right gas-leak detector on the truck. Induction power-module work is bench-tested before we sign out.

A Gas Oven Burner and Igniter, On Camera

A gas oven bake burner lighting with an even blue flame after service. The white bar is the glow-bar igniter, and when it weakens the oven will not heat even though it still glows. This runs in pro-style and built-in gas ranges too.

Common issues. Typical repair.

Thermador Star Burner clicking, no light. Almost always the spark module, the ignitor electrode, or carbon buildup at the electrode tip. We clean, re-gap, and bench-test the gas valve micro-switch before we order a new module. One visit closeout in most cases.

Bosch induction cooktop, F47 or E5 fault. IGBT power-module overheating. Nine times out of ten it is a blocked cooling-fan vent under the cooktop, not a board failure. We clean the vent, verify the airflow, and the cooktop is back in service without a parts order.

Bosch wall oven, dead bake element. The European hidden bake element is a two-hour single-visit job if we have the model number ahead of the appointment. We pull the rear panel, swap, verify the resistance, and bench-test through a full bake cycle.

Z-Line Pro range, broiler will not light. The infrared broiler ignitor and the upper thermocouple fail together. We carry the kit and bench-test the gas valve micro-switch before closing up. Z-Line warranty filed directly when in coverage.

GE Cafe oven, F2 over-temp fault. Oven temp sensor (RTD) has drifted out of spec. Sensor replacement is a 30-minute job. Board is usually fine.

Range hood, switch-board dead. Z-Line and GE hoods both fail at the touch-board from grease ingress at the seam. We clean, re-seal, and replace the board only if the touch sensors test dead on the bench. Full detail on blowers, speed boards, and lights is on our range hood repair page.

Fisher & Paykel cooktop, flame-failure code. Weak thermocouple, almost always. We carry the common thermocouples and ignitors on the truck.

What do customers ask about Cooking Appliance Repair?

  • Are you a Z-Line authorized service company?
Yes. We are Manufacturer-Authorized by Z-Line. We file Z-Line warranty paperwork directly. If your unit is in warranty, we handle the claim. Details on the Z-Line brand page.
  • My Thermador Star Burner clicks but will not light. How long to fix?
Almost always the spark module, the ignitor electrode, or carbon buildup at the electrode tip. We clean, re-gap, and bench-test the gas valve micro-switch first. One visit closeout in most cases. About 60 to 90 minutes on site.
  • My Bosch induction cooktop is throwing an F47 fault. Is the board dead?
Probably not. F47 (and E5 on some models) is an IGBT power-module overheating fault. Nine times out of ten the cause is a blocked cooling-fan vent under the cooktop, not a board failure. We clean and verify before we ever order a board.
  • Do you do gas work?
Yes. CSLB #1136642. We carry a calibrated gas-leak detector and follow proper isolation, leak-test, and re-light procedures on every gas call.
  • How long is the lead time on Thermador parts?
Common parts (ignitors, electrodes, oven sensors, spark modules) ship in three business days from the BSH network. Niche Freedom column or Pro Grand steam-tank parts can take two weeks. We tell you the lead time in writing before we order.
