Terms of Service

These terms govern your engagement with ADRIUM Service Solutions, California licensed contractor CSLB #1136642. By scheduling service, signing an estimate, or proceeding with work, you agree to these terms.
1. Services we provide
- Residential and commercial appliance repair, installation, and replacement.
- Built-in refrigeration, commercial ice machines, and professional kitchen ranges.
- Dishwasher, laundry, and cooking-appliance service.
- HVAC repair, installation, and maintenance through our Bay Area HVAC Service division.
- Manufacturer-authorized and factory-certified warranty work.
Service area: the San Francisco Bay Area, with heavier coverage across the Tri-Valley and Mid-Peninsula corridors (full list on the Locations page).
2. Diagnostic fee
Our trip-and-diagnostic fee is $75, payable when the technician arrives. This fee is waived if you approve the repair and the work proceeds the same day. The diagnostic fee covers up to 60 minutes on-site; complex multi-system diagnostics may incur additional hourly labor, quoted in advance.
3. Estimates and pricing
- Repair estimates are given verbally on-site after diagnosis. Written estimates are available by request.
- Installation estimates are written, itemized, and valid for 30 days from issue. Material cost fluctuations beyond our control may require re-quote after the 30-day window.
- Pricing assumes standard installation conditions (accessible equipment location, code-compliant existing infrastructure). If we discover non-standard conditions (e.g., undersized electrical service, hidden water damage, inaccessible built-in cabinetry), we’ll stop work and provide a change order before proceeding.
- Payment terms: 50% deposit due before equipment is ordered; balance due on completion. Net-30 terms available for property management companies.
4. Warranty
Appliance and HVAC installations: manufacturer parts warranty plus a labor warranty from us. Terms vary by equipment and are stated on your written estimate.
Repairs: 90 days on labor, manufacturer’s warranty on parts (typically 1 year on new parts).
Warranty does not cover:
- Damage from neglected maintenance (e.g., never cleaning condenser coils or filters).
- Acts of God (lightning, flooding, earthquake).
- Tampering by parties other than us.
- Damage from incompatible accessories installed afterwards by third parties.
5. Scheduling, cancellation, no-show
- We offer same-day service when possible but cannot guarantee it during peak season or for hard-to-source parts.
- Please cancel or reschedule by phone at least 2 hours before your appointment window. Cancellations inside the 2-hour window or no-shows may be billed the diagnostic fee.
- If we miss our window without notice, the diagnostic fee is waived on the rescheduled visit.
6. Customer responsibilities
- Provide safe, clear access to equipment (e.g., remove stored items blocking the appliance or attic unit, secure pets).
- Disclose known hazards (recent gas leaks, electrical issues, mold).
- Be present or designate an authorized adult during initial diagnosis and at the time of equipment installation.
7. License, insurance, and bonding
- California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) #1136642, Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration (C-20).
- EPA Section 608 Universal certification #1279674151528.
- California Bureau of Electronic and Appliance Repair (BEAR) #50788.
- BBB A+ accredited.
- $1M general liability insurance; carrier and certificate available upon request.
8. Limitation of liability
Our maximum liability for any claim arising out of work we performed is the total amount paid by you for that specific job. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages (e.g., food spoilage, hotel stays during repair, lost rental income).
Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or anything else that California law does not permit to be disclaimed.
9. Disputes
We aim to resolve every concern by phone first. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally:
- California residents may file a complaint with the CSLB at cslb.ca.gov.
- These terms are governed by California law. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Contra Costa County, California.
10. SMS / text-message terms
By providing your mobile phone number through our website, by phone, or through our online booking form, and by checking the SMS consent checkbox or otherwise expressly opting in, you consent to receive transactional SMS / MMS messages from ADRIUM Service Solutions at the number provided, sent using an automatic telephone dialing system where applicable.
Consent is not a condition of purchase or service. You may schedule and receive service by phone or in person without providing SMS consent.
Message types (transactional only):
- Appointment confirmations and reminders.
- Estimated arrival time (ETA) updates from your technician.
- Requests for photos or equipment details.
- Follow-ups, warranty notifications, and post-service review requests.
We do not send promotional, marketing, or affiliate SMS. We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties.
Frequency. Variable. Typically 2 to 6 messages per active service request.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply per your wireless carrier. ADRIUM Service Solutions does not charge for the messages themselves. Wireless carriers (T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, US Cellular, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt out. Reply STOP to any message. We will send a single confirmation that you have been removed; no further SMS will be sent.

11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. The version in force on the day you signed your estimate is the one that applies to that job.
