DishDrawer dishwashers are the brand’s signature unit and they have signature failure modes. The lid actuator on a double DishDrawer wears out around year five. Symptom: drawer won’t lock, F1 fault flashes, cycle won’t start. Replace the lid motor and the seal at the same time. If you only do the motor, the seal will leak within six months.

The DishDrawer wash motor is brushed-rotor and runs hot. When it fails, the drawer drains fine but won’t spray. We hear it before we open the drawer: a quiet hum where there should be a strong spray sound. Motor replacement is one visit, parts in stock through the New Zealand supply chain that has gotten reliable in the last two years.

Two more DishDrawer calls round out the list. Dishes coming out wet on a top drawer is usually not the heater. It is the drying fan or the flap valve in the drying duct, and on a lot of these it really comes down to a rinse-aid reservoir run dry, since the rinse aid is what sheets the water off for drying. We check the fan, the flap valve, and the rinse-aid level before anyone buys a part. The other one is a drawer that has gone dead or quit mid-cycle with no obvious cause. That is often the flood switch in the base tray, tripped by a small leak. We pull the toe kick and check the tray for water before we ever condemn the controller. These drawers keep a fault log, so we read it and run the diagnostic test cycle first instead of guessing.

Column refrigerators (RS90 and RS36) have a control-board communication fault between the user-interface board and the main board. The fridge appears dead but the compressor is running. Reset doesn’t help. The harness on the door hinge wears at the bend point. We pull the door panel, replace the ribbon harness, and verify the comms before buttoning up.

French-door refrigerators on the ActiveSmart platform fail at the fresh-food evaporator fan. Loud rattle that comes and goes. The fan motor is sealed, not serviceable, but at $140 with a 30-minute install it’s a clean job.

Gas cooktops on the OB and CG series throw a flame-failure code when the thermocouple weakens. Replace, re-seal the burner cap, done. We carry the common thermocouples and ignitors on the truck.

The fittings can leak, or the solenoid fails and you lose water to the dispenser and the ice maker. Column-only configurations without a dispenser do not have this part.
