Mechanical thermostat stuck on an older reach-in. Older cabinets often use a mechanical thermostat with a capillary bulb. When the bulb loses its charge or the contacts stick, the box either freezes product or never cools. We test the thermostat, replace it with a matching control and set it for what you store.
Glass-door cooler with fans running and no cold air. When the fans run and the box stays warm, the fault is usually on the compressor side: a failed start component, a bad contactor or thermostat, or a low charge. We test from the control outward so we replace the part that failed, not the one that is easiest to reach.
