Commercial Refrigeration Repair in Pleasanton

Commercial Refrigeration Repair for Pleasanton kitchens.

Pleasanton covers 94566 and 94588, with the older core Downtown, 1980s and 90s tracts through Mohr-Martin, and the estate pockets of Ruby Hill and Castlewood. The commercial work covers bar and restaurant equipment, from back-bar coolers, undercounter keg units and glycol-chilled draft to reach-ins and walk-ins, as well as the boxes in school kitchens, offices and markets.

Draft beer shows small faults at the tap. A glycol mix that has drifted, a pump that has weakened, or trunk-line insulation soaked with condensate all look the same in the glass: warm or foamy pours. We measure before we guess. The glycol gets a refractometer reading, the line gets a temperature check at the tower, and the chiller gets its coil inspected. Pleasanton diagnostics are $99, credited toward the repair.

Common repairs we handle.

  • Draft pouring warm or foamy at the tower. Glycol concentration drifts as the bath is topped off with water, and a weak mix cannot hold the trunk line cold. We check the concentration with a refractometer, flush and refill the bath if needed, and confirm the pump is moving glycol all the way to the tower.
  • Soaked trunk-line insulation. Once the insulation around the trunk line takes on condensate, it stops insulating and the beer warms between the cooler and the tower. We find the wet section, replace the insulation on that leg, and seal the joints so moisture stays out.
  • Glycol chiller running hot in a closed storeroom. A chiller rejects heat, and one tucked into a storeroom or under a stair with no airflow runs hot all summer. We clean its condenser, check the fan and the bath level, and tell you whether the room needs ventilation.
  • Back-bar bottle cooler icing after service. Bartenders prop doors during the rush, gaskets stretch, and warm air ices the evaporator once the bar quiets. We replace the gasket, often from parts on the truck, adjust the door, and check the seal all the way around.

FAQ

Commercial Refrigeration Repair in Pleasanton questions, answered.

  • Our draft pours fine at open and foams by evening. Where do you start?
With temperature along the whole path. We read the glycol bath, the line at the tower and the keg cooler, then check the glycol mix and the pump. A pour that worsens through the day points to a chiller losing ground or a mix that has gone weak.
  • How often should the glycol in a draft system be checked?
At every preventive-maintenance visit. We read the concentration, check the bath level and the pump, and clean the chiller's condenser. A quarterly schedule catches a weak mix before it shows up as foam.
  • Can you handle sealed-system work on a walk-in or a glycol chiller?
Yes. ADRIUM holds EPA 608 Universal certification, and we do leak repair, evacuation and a weighed charge in-house. If an older chiller is not worth the repair, the written quote says so before work starts. CSLB #1136642.
