Emergency means priority intake, not a false promise

When the main machine is down, the lost drinks start immediately. We move the call into the fastest available intake and pickup window, ask enough questions to prepare the bench, and keep the next decision clear. We do not promise a same-day repair before the machine has been opened and tested.

Franke A-Line machines are diagnosed on site at their installed water and drain connections: A400 $150, A800 $200, A1000 $250; repair work is quoted afterward.

Bunn equipment connected to the building plumbing is diagnosed on site for $99, credited toward the repair. Countertop units come to our bench; we confirm the bench price when you book.

Other coffee machines, apart from Bunn, follow the bench process: pickup, controlled diagnosis, written quote, approved repair, and return. The deposit pays for pickup, diagnosis, and return. It does not count toward the repair.

• $150: home machines from Breville (any model), DeLonghi, Gaggia, Rancilio, Lelit, Rocket, ECM, and Profitec.
• Commercial espresso machines, including Eversys, WMF, Schaerer, and Nespresso Professional: $150–450 deposit depending on the model. It covers pickup, bench diagnosis and return, and is not credited toward the repair.
• $175: Jura and Miele super-automatics and home La Marzocco machines.
• $250: Olympia Express Cremina and Maximatic machines.
• $250–$550: commercial La Marzocco equipment.

Bench time is $150 per hour, or $175 per hour for Jura, La Marzocco, and Miele. We confirm the deposit and pickup window before dispatch.

Stop the machine if it is unsafe

Repeated breaker trips or water near electrical components mean stop using the machine. Don’t keep resetting the breaker or cycling power. Switch off the machine and isolate its water supply only if you can do so safely. Keep clear of wet plugs and switches.

Tell us whether it has lost power, water, heat, or steam. No water at the group or brewer can involve the pump, inlet valve, or autofill system. Uncontrolled leakage needs a different check from a weak steam wand. Grinding, banging, or an unusually loud pump is another reason to switch it off and call.

Have the make, model, and a clear description ready. We handle traditional espresso machines, bean-to-cup equipment, and commercial batch brewers from Bunn, Curtis, and Fetco. Astoria, CMA, and Wega repairs use genuine parts through our approved RCW USA trading partnership; this is a parts relationship, not manufacturer service authorization.

Franke service is on site for all models. We confirm diagnostic pricing for models other than A400, A800, and A1000 when you call.

Call during service or leave the details overnight

Call (925) 999-4095, 7 AM to 7 PM, seven days a week. The line accepts requests after hours. Leave the machine details overnight and we’ll confirm the service plan in the morning; an overnight request isn’t a promised overnight visit.

Where practical, we can suggest a temporary workaround while the machine is away. A loaner or replacement machine is not guaranteed. We give you one written total repair price after diagnosis, before you approve the work.

Honest timing

Diagnostics can take up to a week; most repairs run 3–4 weeks. Parts availability and the fault determine the real date. That is exactly why we recommend preventive maintenance: a planned bench window is cheaper and easier to staff around than an emergency closure.

6 months on parts and labor; 90 days on consumables. Coffee calls cover our 65 Bay Area cities plus San Francisco. We take Nespresso Professional, but not household Nespresso, Keurig, Cuisinart, or drip coffee makers.
