- Garage-stored unit will not pull down to temperature. A condenser that spent a year collecting garage dust, plus a charge that seeped at a fitting during temperature swings, leaves the barrel cold but never frozen. I clean the coil, pressure test, repair any leak properly, and weigh the charge so the machine is actually ready before the event, not during it.
- Auger seal dried and cracked in storage. Seals that sit dry crack, and the first batch of the season ends up in the drip tray. I install the full seal and o-ring kit, lubricate correctly, and show you the storage prep that keeps rubber alive between uses. It is five minutes of prevention per year.
- Sheared coupling from starting against a frozen barrel. Impatient event-day startups, drive on before the barrel logic is ready or against product frozen from a trial run, snap the protective coupling. I replace it and walk through the correct startup order, because the coupling is doing its job and the sequence is the actual fix.
