Caught early it is a hinge service. Ignored, it chews the receivers and turns into a bigger order from the factory, so I flag it even when I am there for something else.
- Simmer flames set wrong after other work. I have followed general repair guys who got a Hayward hills range lighting again but left the low flame settings wrong, so sauces scorch on a range built specifically to simmer. I reset the low-flame bypass screws against the factory spec and prove the simmer with a pot of water before calling it done.
