Common repairs we handle.
- Voute convection fan noisy or not turning. A convection fan that grinds, hums without spinning or stops mid-bake leaves the vaulted oven with hot and cool spots. We check the motor, the fan blade and the wiring at the back of the cavity, and order the motor only after it tests bad.
- Dual-fuel voute slow to reach temperature. On dual-fuel and electric voute ovens, a bake element can fail partway, so the oven heats slowly and never quite reaches the set point. We measure the element and compare the thermostat to the real cavity temperature, then quote the part that is off.
- Worn hinges on the heavy cast oven doors. The cast doors are heavy, and over the years their hinges wear until the door sits crooked. Heat escapes past the seal and the oven bakes unevenly. We replace the hinges and the door seal together so the door closes square.
