- Wall oven bake element and calibration. In the Sign Hill and Winston Manor homes with double wall ovens, the complaint is usually uneven baking or an oven that will not hold temperature. I check the hidden bake element for continuity, test the oven sensor against actual cavity temperature, and recalibrate if the unit is reading true but the offset is off. A burned-out element is a straightforward swap once I confirm that is the actual fault.
- Dishwasher wash pump and drain. A Monogram dishwasher that leaves standing water or runs a cycle without really washing usually has a wash pump or a drain path problem. I pull the filter assembly, check for a clogged sump, and test the pump motor before assuming the worst. Half the time the fix is clearing debris that never should have made it past the filter.
