Monogram in Palo Alto
Monogram in Palo Alto kitchens.
Palo Alto kitchens tend to be precise. In Old Palo Alto, Crescent Park, and the older Professorville blocks near University Avenue, a Monogram side-by-side or column fridge is often the center of a renovated kitchen where every panel lines up. When something goes wrong on those units, it is often not mechanical at all. It is the electronics.
Control boards and sensors are what I get called for most here. A Monogram will start reporting a temperature it is not actually holding, lose its settings after a power blip, or go dark on the display while the compressor keeps running. Palo Alto sees plenty of short outages, and repeated power cycling is hard on a main board. We test the board and the sensors feeding it before we replace anything, because the sensor is often the real culprit and costs a fraction of the board.
ADRIUM Service Solutions is independent and based in San Ramon. I am Andrew Kuznetsov, EPA 608 certified, CSLB #1136642. The diagnostic is $75, waived when you approve the repair, and you always get a written quote before work begins.
Common repairs we do
What we close on the truck.
- Control boards and electronics on Monogram built-ins. The lead problem in Palo Alto. Wrong temperature readouts, forgotten settings, a dark display, or a unit that cycles oddly after an outage. I put a meter on the main control and each sensor first, then trace which one is lying. A drifting thermistor throws the same symptoms as a failed board, so I confirm before ordering. When the board is genuinely gone, we fit the correct Monogram part and program it to your model.
- Sealed-system and compressor work. When a Palo Alto Monogram truly runs warm and it is not the electronics, the sealed system is next. Under recovery we empty the loop, put right whatever is wrong, a leak in the tubing or a compressor that has quit pulling, then change the driers, vacuum the lines, and set the charge on a scale to the plate figure. These column and side-by-side units are built to take a full rebuild, which keeps a good fridge in a kitchen designed around it.
- Range burners, igniters, and oven sensors. On the Monogram professional ranges around here, the usual faults are a burner that sparks yet never catches, a weak flame, or an oven that overshoots its set temperature. The culprit is almost always the ignition side or the oven sensor: worn igniters, a spark module past its life, or a sensor that has drifted. We clean and test the ignition path and confirm the sensor resistance before replacing parts.

FAQ
Monogram in Palo Alto questions, answered.
-
How far is Palo Alto from your San Ramon base?
It is a real drive. We come down and across through Menlo Park, and it runs about thirty-five to forty minutes depending on the bridge and 680 traffic. We plan Peninsula visits around that, so we ask for a little scheduling flexibility on Palo Alto calls. -
You said Monogram problems here are often electronic. Do you carry the boards?
Sometimes. If the diagnostic points to a common board or sensor we may have it on the van, but some Monogram main controls are model specific and have to be ordered. I confirm the exact part at the visit so anything we order comes quickly. -
Do you work on Monogram in Atherton and Menlo Park too?
Yes. Atherton, Menlo Park, and Los Altos Hills are all on the same Peninsula run as Palo Alto, so if you have a built-in Monogram in any of those we service it on the same trips.
