Monogram in Berkeley
Monogram in Berkeley kitchens.
Berkeley splits into two kinds of kitchen. Up in the Berkeley Hills and around Claremont, the remodeled homes often run a Monogram built-in with a plumbed ice maker and a water dispenser. Down in the flats and the older Elmwood bungalows, the brand is rarer, but it turns up in kitchens people have redone. Either way, the ice maker is the part that fails most and gets noticed first.
When a Monogram stops making ice, it is rarely the whole ice maker. More often it is the inlet valve, a frozen fill tube, a bad thermostat in the module, or a water line kinked behind the cabinet. I trace the water path end to end before I quote a part, because guessing on this one gets expensive fast.
ADRIUM Service Solutions is based in San Ramon and works independent of any brand. We are EPA 608 certified and CSLB #1136642. You get a written quote first, and the $99 diagnostic is credited toward the repair.

Common repairs we handle.
- Ice makers that stopped producing. On Berkeley Hills Monogram built-ins, no ice usually comes down to a dead water inlet valve, a fill line frozen solid, or an ice maker module that has quit. We test the water path and the module separately so we replace the real fault, not the whole assembly by default.
- Water dispensers and leaks. A Monogram that leaks or dispenses slowly often has a cracked line, a stuck valve, or a filter head that has failed. We find where the water is actually escaping and repair that point rather than swapping parts one at a time.
- Control boards on built-in columns. When a Monogram column in a Claremont kitchen faults on the display or loses its setpoint, we test the control board and interface. The sealed system is often healthy, so we confirm the electronics before we recommend anything larger.

FAQ
Monogram in Berkeley questions, answered.
-
How do you get to Berkeley from San Ramon?
We take Highway 24 through Orinda and the Caldecott, then drop into Berkeley through Oakland. It is usually a 35 to 45 minute run depending on tunnel traffic. We give you a set arrival window. -
Monogram is not common in my part of Berkeley. Will you still come?
Yes. It is more common up in the hills than in the flats, but we service the brand across the whole city. A rarer unit does not change how we work on it. -
Why not just replace the ice maker instead of diagnosing it?
Because the ice maker itself is often fine. An inexpensive inlet valve or a thawed fill tube fixes many of these. Dropping in a full module without checking the water line just moves the problem and the cost.
