Monogram in Newark
Monogram in Newark kitchens.
I will be straight about Newark. It is mostly mainstream housing, the tract builds near the Lake neighborhood and the newer rows off Cherry Street, and Monogram built-ins are not common here. When one does turn up it is usually in a remodeled kitchen or a house that someone put real money into, and those owners still deserve a repair person who knows the brand. We service them.
The Newark Monogram calls tend to be ice and water. A built-in ice maker that stopped filling, slow or split ice production, water pooling under the fridge, or a dispenser that quit. On these units it is often the fill valve, a frozen line, or the ice maker module rather than the whole system, so the fix is usually contained.
ADRIUM is independent and run out of San Ramon by me, Andrew. EPA 608 certified, CSLB #1136642. The diagnostic is $99 and is credited toward the repair, and I write up the quote before anything is ordered.

Common repairs we handle.
- Ice maker and water line repair on Monogram built-ins. In Newark the Monogram calls are usually ice and water. A built-in ice maker that stopped filling often has a bad fill valve or a frozen supply line. Slow or hollow ice points at pressure or the module. Water on the floor is normally the line or a cracked reservoir. These are contained repairs, so I can usually fix the ice and water side without touching the sealed system.
- Sealed-system service on Monogram refrigeration. When a Newark Monogram runs warm instead of just losing ice, I check the sealed system: compressor, leaks, and restrictions. EPA 608 certified, so the refrigerant work is done in-house and to spec. On these units the rebuild is worth it against the cost of a new built-in.
- Control board faults on Monogram appliances. Some Newark calls are electronic rather than mechanical. A fridge that reads the wrong temperature or a range panel that goes dark can be the main board or a failed sensor feeding it. I test both so you are not replacing a board that was only reading a bad thermistor.

FAQ
Monogram in Newark questions, answered.
-
How long from San Ramon to Newark?
We take 680 down through Fremont and Union City into Newark, usually about 30 to 35 minutes off-peak. That corridor is one we run often, so a Newark visit is easy to schedule. -
Are Monogram appliances common in Newark?
Honestly, no. Newark is mostly mainstream housing and standard appliances, from the Lake neighborhood to the newer builds off Cherry Street. Monograms turn up in the occasional remodeled kitchen. When they do, we service them the same as anywhere else. -
My Monogram ice maker quit but the fridge is still cold. Is that a cheap fix?
Often it is on the lower end. A cold fridge that makes no ice usually points to the fill valve, a line that has iced shut, or a spent ice maker module, not the sealed system. I confirm the cause and put the cost in a written quote before I order the part.
