Dacor in Santa Clara
Dacor in Santa Clara kitchens.
Santa Clara is the far end of our South Bay coverage and worth the drive because of what is installed here. The Old Quad's early-1900s homes near the university have been remodeling into serious kitchens for two decades, and Dacor wall ovens fit both the budgets and the traditional look those projects want. Rivermark and the newer developments toward the north side add builder-grade luxury packages, and the tech-industry remodel wave keeps a steady flow of Modernist-series units coming in.
The Santa Clara pattern I plan around is density of newer electronics. More of the Dacor units here are connected models with app control and touchscreen panels than anywhere else we serve, so my parts thinking for this city leans toward controllers, display assemblies, and network modules rather than the igniters and hinges that dominate the older East Bay stock.
We are ADRIUM Service Solutions from San Ramon. Andrew Kuznetsov, EPA Section 608 Universal certified, CSLB #1136642. Written quotes before work, $75 diagnostic waived with repair, 1-year warranty on repairs, 7-day scheduling.

Common repairs we do
What we close on the truck.
- Modernist display and board failures. The Modernist wall ovens in Santa Clara's newer kitchens fail electronically more than mechanically. Displays go partially dark, touch response drifts, or the oven drops out of the app and never returns. I diagnose in layers, panel, main board, then connectivity module, because the symptoms overlap and the parts prices differ a lot. Replacing the right layer the first time is most of the value of the diagnostic.
- Weak igniters on dual-fuel professional ranges. Dual-fuel Dacor ranges in the Old Quad remodels are hitting the age where hot surface igniters drop below spec. The oven lights slowly, then intermittently, then not at all, and the progression can run over months. I measure igniter current draw against the valve's rating instead of waiting for total failure, so one part replacement ends the saga rather than a series of callbacks.
- Door locked after self-clean on wall ovens. Self-clean runs the cavity far hotter than cooking ever does, and on Dacor wall ovens the latch motor and its switches are the components that pay for it. A door that stays locked the morning after a clean cycle is the usual presentation. I release the latch without damage, replace the failed switch or motor, and suggest steam or manual cleaning going forward, since avoiding the extreme cycle protects the latch, the boards, and the door glass all at once.

FAQ
Dacor in Santa Clara questions, answered.
-
How long does it take you to get to Santa Clara from San Ramon?
Around 50 minutes down 680 and across, traffic depending. Santa Clara runs as part of our South Bay cluster with San Jose next door and Sunnyvale and Cupertino beyond, so we book it on dedicated South Bay days rather than as a lone trip. Give us a day or two of lead time and you get a firm window. -
My oven works fine from the panel but the app stopped connecting. Is that worth a service call?
Try Dacor's app troubleshooting and a router-side reconnect first, honestly. If the oven itself cooks correctly, the issue is often account or network side and free to fix. When the oven's own connectivity module has failed, we can replace it, but I would rather you spend fifteen minutes on settings than $75 on a visit that confirms your Wi-Fi password changed. -
Do you carry parts for the newest Dacor models?
We stock the common wear parts and order model-specific boards per job, which for current Samsung-era Dacor typically means a few business days. The written quote lists the exact part numbers so you know what is coming. For very new units still under factory warranty, use Dacor's warranty service first and keep our number for everything after.
