Can we keep cooking on the other zones while one induction zone shows a code?

Usually, if the other zones heat normally and nothing smells hot. Turn the range off at the breaker if the code keeps returning, the display flickers, or you hear buzzing under the glass. Write down the code before you call. It helps us bring the right part.

Dacor in Hercules

Dacor in Hercules kitchens.

Interstate 80 splits Hercules in two. Inland, along Refugio Valley Road, the subdivisions locals call the Birds, the Trees and Flowers and the Gemstones are mostly two-story homes from the 1970s and 1980s. Toward the bay are the newer ones: Victoria by the Bay from the early 2000s and the first apartment buildings at Hercules Bayfront. A Dacor in either kind of house belongs to a kitchen that was built or redone well after the neighborhood went up.

The Renaissance RR30 induction range is a different repair from a gas range. There is no igniter to clean or burner to clear. A generator board under the glass drives each coil, and when it fails you get an element-fault code or a zone that cuts in and out. Our technician for Hercules is based in Benicia. Water and ice systems

Every fridge with a dispenser or ice maker has a water inlet valve. The fittings can leak under the cabinet, or the solenoid fails and the dispenser and ice maker stop getting water.

Common repairs we handle.

Induction zone cutting out with an element-fault code. On the RR30 the generator board is the part that fails. We read the code, check the coil and its wiring to the board, and test the supply voltage before ordering anything. A loose connection at a coil costs far less to fix than a board, so we rule it out first.
Induction zone not recognizing the pan. An induction zone heats only a pan with a magnetic base. If a magnet will not stick to the bottom, the pan is the problem, not the range. When a magnetic pan still reads as missing, we test that zone's coil and the generator board output feeding it.
HDER dual-fuel oven slow to preheat. The HDER pairs gas burners on top with an electric oven below. When preheat drags, the bake element, the convection element or the convection fan is the likely cause. We measure each element, check the fan motor, and look at the door gasket, since a leaking seal slows preheat too.
