A dead bake with a working broil is the standard element failure signature, and on Dacor wall ovens the hidden bake element under the cavity floor hides the visual evidence. I confirm with a continuity and resistance check rather than tearing the floor out on a guess. The element swap itself is routine, and I inspect the terminal ends for heat damage since that is where the next failure would start.
Weak or no spark on rangetop burners. When one or two burners on a Dacor rangetop need a lighter while the rest spark fine, the individual electrodes or their leads have degraded, and in Point Richmond's older remodels the leads sometimes chafe where they route under the top. I test spark at each position, replace the failed electrodes, and secure the routing so the new leads do not wear through in the same spot.
