Darkened or bubbled cabinet faces beside a Dacor range mean the door is no longer sealing, and on these heavy doors the causes are worn hinges, a compressed gasket, or a warped inner door assembly. I check all three because replacing the gasket alone fixes nothing if the hinges have dropped the door out of square. Getting the seal right protects the cabinetry, and it also shortens preheat times noticeably.
Fault codes pointing at the oven sensor. Dacor controls throw an F code when the temperature sensor circuit reads open or shorted, and in Martinez's older remodels I sometimes find the actual fault in the harness connection behind the cavity rather than the sensor itself. I resistance-test at both ends before ordering anything. Half the time it is the sensor, and the other half a proper connector repair saves you the part.

Boilovers on Dacor rangetops seep under the burner bases and bridge the spark electrodes, so the whole top starts clicking at random, sometimes at two in the morning. If the liquid was just water, drying resolves it.
