The remodeled kitchens in San Mateo Park and around Baywood run Zephyr island and wall hoods over Wolf and Thermador ranges, and the newer buildout near Hillsdale and along 25th Avenue and B Street, where a lot of the restaurant and retail activity sits, has pushed similar kitchen upgrades into the condos and townhomes nearby.

The calls split about the way you would expect for a mixed-age city. Older San Mateo Park homes bring blower motor wear after a decade or more of use, and the newer Hillsdale-area units bring touch-panel and app-connectivity issues instead. Presrv wine and beverage coolers turn up in both, usually a temperature drift complaint or a door seal that stopped holding cold.
