Los Altos runs 94022 and 94024. In the newer flatland remodels the Zephyr work is touch-controlled island hoods over the Wolf and Thermador ranges, often with a Zephyr Presrv wine or beverage reserve built into a pantry wall or bar island next to the U-Line columns. On those newer hoods the touch panel and the lighting are the calls I get before the motor.
The Presrv units in those pantry-wall installs are a refrigeration call, not a ventilation one. The usual issue is dual-zone temperature drift or a cooling fan that stopped. Built into a wall, they run warm if the airflow at the vent is choked, so I check the install before I condemn a part. In the older Country Club and Loyola Corners kitchens the Zephyr hoods are simpler, and the blower-motor bearing wear shows up the way it does on any decade-plus unit.
