What we repair on the bench.

Cremina piston seals and group sleeve. A stiff, slipping, or leaking lever can come from hardened piston cups, a scored group sleeve, or the group gasket. I inspect the piston and bore together so fresh seals are not damaged by an untreated surface.
Boiler, heat, and steam circuit. No heat, unstable pressure, or visible leakage calls for checks of the boiler, element, pressurestat, thermal protection, safety valve, steam valve packing, and sight-glass seals before parts are selected.
Maximatic pump and three-way valve. Weak brew pressure, unusual pump noise, or water left at the group can point to the pump, a restriction, or a three-way valve that no longer seals. I measure pressure and follow the hydraulic path before ordering a pump.
