Concord kitchens surprise people. Behind the modest street view of a 1960s tract home off Clayton Road or Treat Boulevard there is often a full remodel, and more than once we have opened the door to a 40 inch Nostalgie in brass holding down the center of it. The larger lots toward Ygnacio Valley and Crystyl Ranch carry the bigger 48 inch units.
Concord sits an easy run up 680 from our San Ramon shop, so it gets the same scheduling priority as our home turf. We provide a written repair estimate after the on-site diagnosis and before any work starts.
We are CSLB #1136642, EPA Section 608 Universal certified, and open seven days. The $99 diagnostic is credited toward the repair and repair work is warrantied for 90 days (one year on inverter boards).

- Igniters clicking nonstop with all burners off. One shorted spark microswitch behind any knob fires the whole spark generator, so the range clicks like a metronome while nothing is lit. Moisture from cleaning under the knobs is the classic cause. I isolate the faulty switch by unplugging the stack lead by lead, which takes minutes and avoids replacing parts that are fine.
- Oven temperature that will not hold steady. On gas ILVE ovens, a thermostat with a weakening sensing bulb overshoots, cuts the flame to a low bypass, then lags badly on recovery. Roasts come out uneven front to back. I confirm the swing with a logging probe over a full cycle, then calibrate or replace the thermostat depending on what the numbers show.
- Multi-function oven stuck on one setting. The rotary selector switch on Majestic and Professional Plus electric ovens is a mechanical commutator, and worn contacts leave you with convection but no broil, or a fan that runs on every mode. The switch is replaceable as a unit. I test each function output at the switch before condemning it, since a failed element can mimic the same symptom.
