Menumaster in Pinole
Menumaster commercial service.
On a Menumaster that runs all day, the membrane keypad is the part people touch most. The overlay takes years of greasy fingers, the busiest pads stop registering first, and staff start pressing harder or using a different preset to work around it. That is usually the moment to call. In Pinole, from the turn-of-the-century buildings in Old Town to the big-box district along Fitzgerald Drive, a keypad fault stays a small repair if it is caught before moisture reaches the control board.
Our technician for Pinole and the neighboring towns is based in Benicia. We charge a $99 diagnostic that is credited toward the repair, test the keypad, control and high-voltage parts on site, and give you a written quote before any work starts.
Common repairs we handle.
- Keypad pads that stop registering. We test the membrane keypad and its ribbon connection to the control. A worn overlay gets replaced as a unit. If the connection has corroded, we clean or replace it too, then program your presets back in and test each one.
- Control board faults after moisture gets in. Steam and cleaning spray can work past a worn keypad and reach the control board. Symptoms include ghost entries, a flickering display, or a beep with no heating. We dry and inspect the board, test its outputs, and quote a replacement only if it has actually failed.
- Weak heating on an older CFT or DEC unit. When portions take longer than they used to, the magnetron may be losing output, or a diode or capacitor may be failing. We test the high-voltage circuit in order and measure output with a water load before recommending a magnetron.

FAQ
Menumaster in Pinole questions, answered.
-
Two buttons on our Menumaster stopped working but the rest are fine. Is that the keypad or the board?
Usually the keypad, since the most-used pads wear out first. We test the keypad and the control separately so you only replace what failed. If moisture has reached the board, the quote covers both options. -
Our shop near the Pinole Vista Shopping Center runs the microwave from open to close. How do we make the keypad last?
Wipe the keypad with a damp cloth instead of spraying cleaner on it, and keep staff from pressing pads with utensils. Both add a lot of life. When the keypad does wear out, it is a repair with a part we usually stock. -
Who makes Menumaster, and does that matter for parts?
Menumaster is ACP's commercial microwave line, from the same maker as Amana Commercial. The CFT, DEC and RCS models are built for heavy use and designed to be serviced, and the common wear parts are ones we usually stock.
