Interlock and monitor switches worn by door slams. These ovens use a set of switches that cut power the instant the door opens. Repeated slams bend the actuators and burn the contacts. We test each switch, replace the set rather than one piece, and confirm the sequence so the monitor switch never fires on a healthy door.
Membrane keypad with dead number pads. Staff press the same two or three buttons all day, and those contacts wear out first. When a pad stops responding, cooks start working around it and cook times drift. We replace the membrane and check that every preset button runs the time your menu calls for.
Oven that clicks and hums but gives no heat. A high-voltage capacitor that has lost its value or shorted gives exactly that result. We discharge it safely, test it against its rated capacity and check the bleeder resistor. A good capacitor points us to the diode or the tube instead, and we keep testing until one part fails the meter.
