Door interlock and monitor switch wear. A unit that refuses to start, or one that keeps tripping the fuse, usually means the interlock or monitor switch has finally worn out. Light but constant use over several years wears these out just as surely as heavy restaurant use.
Magnetron and high-voltage circuit. If a unit will not heat, or heats weakly, the magnetron, HV diode, or capacitor is the usual suspect. We isolate the circuit, test it, and replace whichever part actually failed.
