Common repairs we handle.

Dryer motor runs but the drum does not turn. A snapped drive belt is the usual cause, and the tensioning idler pulley often goes with it. We open the cabinet, check the rollers and the drum glides while it is apart, and replace the belt and pulley. A drum that still drags points to worn rollers.
Stacked set in a townhome closet leaking at the base. Water under a stacked set comes from the washer: a split fill hose, a worn boot, or a loose drain hose at the pump. We bring the stack forward, follow the wet trail, and fix the source. We also make sure the drain hose is secured in the standpipe.
Older top-loader timer stuck on one step. Older mechanical top-loaders use a timer with contacts that wear and burn. The dial stops advancing, or the machine skips a fill or a spin. We meter the timer contacts and the lid switch, then source the timer or a compatible replacement for that model.
Washer fills with only hot or only cold water. One side of the inlet valve can fail open or closed, or the hoses can end up crossed at the wall valves after a move. We check the hose connections, meter each valve coil, and look at the temperature selector before replacing the valve.
