- Samsung top-load, ND drain code. Cracked drain-pump impeller or a failed pump. We pull it, inspect, replace, and clean the sump while we are in there.
- GE or Maytag dryer, drum bearing growl. Rear bearing wears out at 8 to 10 years. We replace the bearing, front felt seal, idler pulley, and belt together. Doing one without the others is a callback.
- Dryer will not heat. Heating element or thermal fuse. We meter both, check the vent for the lint clog that killed the fuse, and clear it so the new part lasts.
