Most of the laundry in 94546 sits in mid-century ranch homes through the Village, Proctor, and Jensen Ranch. The stock is mostly GE, LG, and Whirlpool, a lot of it top-load, with a good share of the older direct-drive front-loaders that landed here in the early 2010s. The call we see most off that stock is the LG LE motor fault. That is the rotor-position sensor drifting, not the motor, and a shop that quotes you a whole drive motor for it is wrong. We meter it, swap the sensor on the back of the rotor, done in a visit.

Up in Five Canyons and Palomares Hills the laundry rooms run newer. Bosch condensing dryers and the occasional Electrolux heat-pump unit show up in those 1990s-and-newer tracts. The complaint there is almost always 'the dryer takes forever,' and on a heat-pump or condensing dryer that means the condenser fins are packed with lint. We meter the door switch and the lid switch before pulling any major panel. We watch the spin balance and put a hand on the drum under load to catch a bearing growl. When we open a sealed unit it is to fix the part that failed.
