Dishwasher Repair in Danville
Dishwasher Repair in Danville.
Danville covers two ZIPs, 94506 and 94526, and the dishwashers follow the same split as the rest of the kitchen. The Diablo Country Club and Blackhawk-perimeter estates run panel-ready Bosch Benchmark and 800 Series flanked into custom cabinetry next to the Wolf ranges. The Sycamore, Westside, and Old Blackhawk-adjacent neighborhoods mix in more KitchenAid, GE Profile, and standard Bosch 500. Different brands, but the leaks and drain faults are the bread-and-butter calls in both.
Most of what I see in 94526 is the Bosch base-pan E15. The recirc-pump seal weeps, the float trips, and the unit stops. I read the code, run diagnostic mode, and trace the weep with leak dye before pulling it. On the KitchenAid units in the Sycamore tracts the usual call is a no-drain, almost always a cracked drain-pump impeller from a hard object that slipped past the filter. I open the impeller chamber and clear the debris before the new pump goes in, or you are back on the bench in a month.
What the work looks like
A dishwasher leaking from the pump and sump.
Common repairs we do
What we close on the truck.
- Bosch 800 / Benchmark, E15 base-pan leak. The float reads water in the pan from a weeping pump seal. I swap the recirc pump, replace the base-pan check valve while I am in there, and cycle a full wash before it goes back in the cabinet.
- KitchenAid, no drain. Drain-pump impeller cracked by debris that got past the filter. I clear the impeller chamber, then install the new pump. About a 30-minute job.
- Bosch, dishes wet on top. On these higher trims a wet top rack is the Crystal Dry zeolite tank giving out, not the door vent. I read the tank temperature in diagnostic mode and only then quote the heater-tank module.
- Panel-ready door alignment. The custom panel on these estate installs is heavy enough to drag the door out of plumb until it pops mid-wash. I re-shim the hinge and dial the spring tension back so the door stays shut.

FAQ
Dishwasher Repair in Danville questions, answered.
-
How quickly can you reach Danville?
I am based in San Ramon, so Danville is a 10-minute drive. Same or next-day is the norm when I have a window. If I tell you 2 PM, I am at your gate at 2 PM. -
Dishwasher quit mid-cycle and there is water in the bottom. What is it?
On a Bosch that is usually the E15 leak code, a weeping recirc-pump seal that trips the float. On a KitchenAid it is more often a clogged or cracked drain pump. I read the code and check the pan before quoting either one.
