Overheating and squeaking
Case documented October 7, 2026.
Problem: This Electrolux stackable dryer in Walnut Creek, CA, was getting too hot and squeaking while it ran.
Diagnostics: We found a blockage in the vent channel inside the dryer. With the front open, lint was visible around the drum opening and lower cabinet.
Solution: We cleared the blockage and cleaned the internal vent channel. This work was inside the machine; it wasn’t a house dryer-vent cleaning job.
Result: The dryer works normally again. If yours starts overheating or squeaking, stop using it and describe both symptoms when you book a repair.
