Bosch dishwasher drain pump replacement in San Ramon
Problem: Water was sitting in the bottom of this Bosch dishwasher, and it wouldn’t go through a wash cycle. When the owner pressed Start, it made a humming, rubbing sound.
Diagnostics: With the filter out, small white fragments were visible around the sump. The photo shows the debris clearly, but it doesn’t tell us what the pieces were. We identified the drain pump as the part to replace.
Solution: We pulled the dishwasher out of the cabinet, opened the base and replaced the drain pump.
Result: The pump replacement is complete. If you’re booking a visit for a dishwasher that won’t drain, mention any sound it makes when you press Start. Those details belong with the standing-water complaint.
