LG in Orinda kitchens.

Orinda splits into the village side and the Sleepy Hollow and Orinda Downs hills, and both sides keep us busy. The hillside homes went through kitchen remodels that installed LG French doors and LG Studio ranges, while smaller cottages near the village and BART often run counter-depth or compact LG units because the kitchens simply do not fit anything wider. Once gauges confirm the failure, the job is the updated compressor, a proper evacuation, and a weighed charge. Food-loss panic is real, so I prioritize these calls and often have the common compressor on the van.
Frost buildup and Er FF from failing door gaskets. Older Orinda houses move with the seasons, floors go slightly out of level, and an LG door that no longer self-closes lets in moist air until the evaporator ices over and throws Er FF. I level the unit, replace the gasket if it is torn, melt the ice out, and verify the defrost cycle completes.
