- KF Column Defrost Drain Clog. Even in Saratoga's custom kitchens, the KF column's defrost drain clogs the same as anywhere, water freezing and thawing behind the evaporator until it backs up and shows on the floor away from the actual blockage. I clear the passage, test the drain heater, and check the door seal before I consider the job finished.
- MasterCool Column Running Warm or Icing Up. On the hillside estate columns, which tend to run for a decade or more before I get called, a warm compartment often does turn out to be a sealed-system leak, but I still check the evaporator fan and coil temperature split first since a bad fan can fake the same symptom.
- G Series Dishwasher Drain Pump, Inlet Valve, and Control Faults. A dishwasher that's run quietly in one of these homes for years usually fails at the drain pump or the inlet valve when it does go, and the fault code on the display tells me which one before I take anything apart.
