Where we see LG is the freestanding French-doors and dual-inverter laundry in Evergreen (95135), which is steady mid-priced volume, and scattered through the Willow Glen and Cambrian remodels (95125, 95124) as the secondary or garage fridge alongside the Thermador and Bosch up front. It's a real chunk of our South-Bay LG work, not the headline.
The pattern is consistent. Older LG French-doors throw the linear-compressor no-cool, where the compressor runs but won't pump, and we check the serial against LG's settlement program before opening anything. The settlement class is the 2014 to 2017 build window, so we read the serial rather than guess from the model. The newer LRMVS units fail at the evap-fan and the icemaker instead. On the laundry side the dual-inverter front-loaders throw an LE motor fault from rotor-sensor drift, or a UE unbalance. The UE we treat as a suspension job until proven otherwise, and we check the rods on a service cycle before pulling parts.

- Linear-compressor no-cool diagnosis. Older French-door runs but won't pump. Verify serial against LG's program, quote labor up front.
- Icemaker assembly on LRMVS fridges. No-ice or jammed harvest. Swap the assembly, verify a clean cycle. Quick job.
- Front-load washer UE unbalance fault. We check the suspension rods on a service cycle first. Worn rods are the usual cause, and replacing them clears the code.
- Dishwasher drain and fill faults. Pump or inlet-valve failures on LG dishwashers. Diagnose, replace, run a full cycle to confirm.
