A starving machine can look like a failing one. A clogged inlet screen, an overdue filter or low supply pressure all cut the feed, and the machine answers with a "checking water" error. We measure pressure at the machine and check the inlet before the refrigeration side. Our technician for Rodeo is based in Benicia, and the $99 diagnostic is credited toward the repair.

Common repairs we handle.

Inlet valve that opens slowly or not at all. A weak valve coil or a clogged screen leaves the cylinder short of water. We test the coil, clean or replace the screen and the valve, and watch the machine take on water normally before we move on.
Overdue water filter starving the machine. A cartridge past its date clogs and drops the flow the machine needs. We check the date and the pressure drop across the filter, replace the cartridge and write the next change date on the housing.
Capacitor worn down by voltage sag. Low or sagging supply voltage shortens run capacitor life and makes the compressor struggle to start. We measure voltage at the outlet while the compressor starts and replace the capacitor with the correct rating when it has weakened.
