Dryer drum turning but staying cold. We check the voltage on both legs at the outlet, then the thermal fuse, the high-limit thermostat and the heating element. A blown thermal fuse usually has a cause behind it, most often restricted airflow, so we find that before replacing the fuse.
Dryer needing two cycles to dry a load. Long dry times on a vented dryer come from lint in the duct, a crushed transition hose behind the dryer, or a weak heater. We measure airflow at the exhaust, test the heater and the sensor, and fix what is on the dryer side. If the duct inside the wall is blocked, we tell you so a duct crew can clear it.
Refrigerator door gasket no longer sealing. A torn or flattened gasket lets warm air in, and the result is frost in the freezer, sweating on the door frame and a compressor that rarely rests. We check the seal with a paper test, clean or replace the gasket, and adjust the doors so they meet evenly.
