What we close on the truck.

  • Powers on but never heats. When a Breville lights up but stays cold, the thermal fuse or a cutout in the heating circuit has opened and will not reset. We trace the heater circuit, test the element and the fuse, replace the failed protection and any burned connection behind it, and verify the machine heats to brew and steam temperature before we close it up.
  • Grinder clumping or stuck on adjustment. The built in grinder on a Barista Touch can clump, throw static, or lock up on the grind adjustment. We clean the burr chamber, free or replace the adjustment mechanism, fit new burrs if they are worn, and set a clean even dose.
  • Hard water scale and blocked flow. Tri-Valley water is hard, and Pleasanton machines scale up fast without regular descaling. We run a full descale, clear the group and steam path, replace scale hardened seals, and check that flow and pressure are back to spec.
